Being charged with a sex crime can have a devastating impact on a person’s life. Your career, family, and your freedom are in jeopardy. The consequences for convictions of a sex crime range from lengthy prison commitments including life-in-prison sentences, lifetime registration as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, loss of the right to vote, loss of the right to bear arms, probation or parole, mandatory AIDS testing, court-ordered rehabilitation, and costly fines. Sex crimes cases must be aggressively defended.  Immediate investigation can reveal flaws in the complaining person’s story which then casts doubt on that person’s credibility.  A close evaluation into repeated inconsistencies in the complaining person’s the story is also often critical to winning a sex crimes case.
